Zoe Karssen is ❤️

If I could pick a clothing brand that describes my style and personality…that would be Zoe Karssen. I have mad love for its tongue-in-cheek smart slogan tees that are also so so comfy to put on!

Here i styled it with a gradient hat by Lack of Color and Topshop’s ripped knee jeans, plus my highstreet buy of the season..the laced up Zara shoes!

So that’s my obsession of the moment. I mean shoes..always.. But in particular, anything that is laced up.

I’m looking forward to being in Europe again for two weeks. Stay tuned! Meanwhile, follow me on @justabitcliche on instagram, check out a few of my daily outfits and say hello! 💁🏻

Topshop vest

Topshop is having a pretty kick-ass collection at the moment, churning up some good classics that you can keep forever

Previously, I blogged about their longline duster trench which has the power to take you through the seasons.

Today its about this vest.

Its got a tomboy cut which I love.  This vest is beyond versatile. At the top of my head, its works great with a great motif bodycon dress, high waist shorts and skirts, playsuits. Everything

I’m a huge fan of lightweight outerwear, because it makes dressing for summer so much more fun. It comes in two colors, grey and blue. Normally, grey being my favorite color and all, I would take the grey in a heartbeat – but this time the blue wins. Why? Because its perfect, understated and the color works the scuba-ish material perfectly.

Here I kept the colors of my clothes solid and clean because I wanted wear these gladiators out! ✌️

Malaysia Grand Prix

So 2 weeks ago, this happened:

I am a huge, huge fan of motorsport – Formula 1 in particular. I’ve been to a few Malaysian Grand Prix and every single time I’ve loved it. The races never disappoint and Sepang is actually my favourite racing track in the world!

The fashion part tho is tricky. What do you wear thats race-appropriate and well, weather appropriate?  I usually forgo the fashionable aspect when it comes to attending races in the grandstands. Comfort all the way (and its only way).

Tip: Please dont take out your maxi dresses or high heels or pretty white dresses tho  – its just wrong on so many levels. You want to visit labels like Stella Sport or Adidas by Stella if you’re looking for some ideas – at least thats what I did over the years. Her stuff is great for me because I play tennis too and it all works out. Too bad about the collection this year tho, I wasnt feeling any of it.

To the grid walk, I wore an off shoulder Calvin Klein semi sheer tshirt and a pair of new season Zara statement shorts I picked up last minute, and alot of anti-frizz product in my hair. 😂

Hello Malaysia!

Look – its the Petronas towers! Excited to be back in the good city of Kuala Lumpur. 😎

Today I’m wearing my favorite piece from Topshop this season – the sleeveless belted duster.

Its essentially a great layering piece, and will easily get you through the seasons. Dress it up, dress it down, its your choice. Its so versatile!

Miss Saigon

Last week, I was in Vietnam for five days, in Ho Chi Minh City (better known as Saigon) to be exact.
My first impression was wow – this place is authentically..european. French to be exact.
Nothing has changed since the last time I visited Saigon in 2012, and that sorta worked in my favor because during the previous trip I discovered the best crepe joint for dessert, and a great italian place! If its not obvious yet, I love food! ✌️

But that tune will change soon because I am going on a no-carb diet. I’ll be blogging about it at the end of every week, just to show you how I make it thru (or didnt make it, who knows, its up for debate!) 😂

But i’m positively excited about it! Are you on a special diet? Share with me!

For now..let me share some pictures I took I in Vietnam.

That was at the Notredame cathedral and the bricks were vandalised with random names(albeit beautifully to me). Lots of history with this church! Loved the walls alot.

These ones below are taken along the main streets of Saigon! Truly the simple life, I do envy some aspects of it. Its definitely a booming country with lots of potential and its also super duper interesting because people who have a war history with this country want to come back here for some kind of closure. I heard that the average age is under 30! I mean, wow!

Colorful Resolutions

So have your 2015 resolutions kicked in yet? Mine did today – and that is to wear color.

I had a sneaky suspicion that wasnt ever going to be a successful thing to do from the moment the thought of it entered my head…but try I must!

What do you think? 😂❤️
